What our guides are

Every guide is research and curation by Shelzy Perkins, the site editor. We compare manufacturer specifications, dimensions, published weight ratings, mounting requirements, and recurring owner feedback.

We do not test products hands-on. If a guide ever describes direct use of a product, it will say so plainly and describe what was done.

How products are chosen

We start from a storage problem and the measurements that usually limit it, then shortlist products that fit those limits.

Products are compared on fit, capacity, installation demands, durability signals in owner feedback, and who each option suits.

Affiliate commission rates do not decide rankings, and we do not accept sponsored placements.

How we link

We link to exact Amazon product pages only. If an exact listing cannot be confirmed, the product is removed rather than replaced with a generic search.

We do not quote prices or star ratings because both change daily. Check the listing for current details.

Updates and dates

A guide's updated date changes only when its content changes, such as a product swap, a corrected specification, or a rewritten section.

Seasonal guides are reviewed before their season starts.

AI assistance

Drafting is AI-assisted. Every guide is edited, checked against listings and manufacturer pages, and organized by a person before publishing.

Corrections

If you spot a wrong dimension, a dead link, or a product that changed, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
