How Shelzy builds a guide

Starts from a storage problem, such as a garage wall with no system or a closet that will not close, and the measurements that usually constrain it.
Shortlists products by reading manufacturer specifications, published weight ratings, mounting requirements, and dimensions.
Reads recurring owner feedback for patterns in fit, breakage, and installation trouble.
Links only to exact Amazon product pages, and removes a product when its listing cannot be confirmed.
Does not quote prices or star ratings, because both change daily.

Guides are research and curation. They are not hands-on product tests. Read the full editorial policy and the affiliate disclosure.
